The following is a list of All Candidates meetings where voters or other interested people can learn more about candidates to help them make an informed choice when voting. In addition to these meetings, we encourage you to contact candidates directly via email or telephone and request more information about them and/or an opportunity to speak to a candidate.

North Shore All Candidates Meetings

 

District of North Vancouver

Thursday, September 22nd: Parkgate Society is hosting “Coffee with Candidates” between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., an informal opportunity to meet the municipal candidates at the Parkgate Community Centre. For more information: https://parkgatesociety.ca/event/coffee-with-candidates/

Sunday, September 25th: From 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., the Civic Association of Iranian Canadians will be hosting an all candidates meeting at 851 Queens Road. Wednesday, September 28th: An all candidates meeting co-hosted by the Lower Capilano Community Association, Norgate Park Community Association, Pemberton Heights Community Association, and the Association of Woodcroft Councils will be taking place at the Lions Gate Community Centre between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Tuesday, October 4th: The Blueridge Community Association have joined forces with the Seymour Community Association, Parkgate Society Community Services, and the Mount Seymour United Church to put together an all-candidates meeting at Mount Seymour United Church, between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. More information: https://blueridgeca.org/all-candidates-meeting-oct-4/

Wednesday, October 5th: The Lynn Valley Community Association are hosting an all candidates meeting at the Lynn Valley recreation centre, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Friday, October 7th: An all candidates get together will take place at the Highlands United Church via the Edgemont and Upper Capilano Community Association (EUCCA), between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Wednesday, October 12th: Lynn Valley Library will host a “speed-candidating” event, designed to allow voters to pummel candidates with questions in a more informal and open manner. City of North Vancouver

Tuesday, September 27th: North Vancouver Chamber members are invited to get to know the candidates during an event at the Pier Salon at Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier. Things will kick off from 4:30 p.m. with appetizers and networking. More info: business.nvchamber.ca/events

Those hoping to get to know the city candidates from the comfort of their own homes can do so on the same Tuesday via a Zoom session, produced by the North Vancouver City Library from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. The Zoom link will be emailed 24 hours in advance of the event and sent to the email address used when registering, which can be done here.

 

District of West Vancouver
